Yogurt: One great superfood, plain yogurt has such balanced amounts of carbs, fat, and protein that it can satiate you while keeping blood sugar levels stable for hours. In a study from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, subjects on a low-calorie diet that included yogurt lost 61 percent more fat overall and 81 percent more belly fat than people on a similar plan but without yogurt. Berries: Most especially, blueberries and goji berries are the best fruits to be eating right now. Blueberries are high in antioxidants and fiber, while goji berries contain 18 amino acids, making them a great source of protein and more beta carotene than carrots. No fail substitutions:




Instead of bananas in your cereal or oatmeal, try blueberries. Unlike bananas which can spike blood sugar, blueberries help keep insulin levels stable while providing a wide range of nutrients. Add dried goji berries to a mixture of nuts for stamina boosting trail mix or add them to green tea for tartness, eating them after you have finished the tea.
